About the Ankaa
The Rockport Technologies Ankaa is a premium loudspeaker model introduced in 2008. It features a Scan-Speak 1" Revelator D30 tweeter, a custom-built Audiotechnology 5.25" midrange driver with a carbon fiber and Rohacell foam cone, and a 10" paper-cone woofer. The Ankaa's cabinet is designed with variable section thickness and constrained layer damping to minimize resonance. It is praised for its smooth frequency response, detailed soundstage, and deep bass extension down to 30Hz.
