About the ADI-2 FS
The RME ADI-2 FS is a compact two-channel AD/DA converter in a half-rack 9.5-inch chassis. It converts between balanced analog line-level signals and digital audio via optical or coaxial S/PDIF, AES/EBU-compatible S/PDIF, and ADAT-compatible optical I/O, with support for sample rates up to 192 kHz. The unit includes selectable analog operating levels, SteadyClock FS clocking, analog bypass and digital format-converter modes, LED metering, and a front-panel high-power stereo headphone output. It uses an external 100–240 V AC switching power supply and can be installed in a rack with an optional rackmount kit.
