The Pole Pig is a power conditioning device featuring a very heavy isolation transformer that removes noise on the hot and neutral legs of the AC power line. It includes a built-in surge suppressor and is rated for a maximum capacity of 700 watts, making it ideal for audiophile sources, DVD players, AV preamps, HDMI receivers, and Blu-ray players. The unit has six commercial grade Hubbell outlets wired in parallel, two detachable 6 ft 12 AWG power cords with NEMA 5-15 plugs, and a 20 Amp IEC connector. It draws less than 50 watts at idle and includes an 18,000 Joules MOV surge suppressor and a fast blow fuse. The Pole Pig is rack-mountable with an optional shelf kit and comes in black or silver finish. Dimensions are 8.75"W x 5.25"H x 11"D, and it weighs 40 pounds. It is designed to offer the benefits of isolation for source components and smaller home theater systems rated under 700 VA, helping to reduce noise and improve power quality for sensitive audio/video equipment.
