The Revox A77 is a renowned reel-to-reel tape recorder that was manufactured from 1967 to 1981. It is available in several models, including the A77 Professional, A77 SLS (super low speed), and A77 Autostart (Vox). The A77 features three external rotor AC motors, allowing for precise tape transport control. It supports tape speeds of 3.75 and 7.5 ips, with a frequency response of 30Hz to 20kHz at 7.5 ips and 30Hz to 16kHz at 3.75 ips. The device includes three heads and supports both mono and stereo recording with options for 2 or 4 tracks, depending on the version.
