About the Performa M20

The Revel Performa M20 is a two-way, stand-mounted, reflex-loaded bookshelf loudspeaker engineered for very high accuracy and low distortion. It uses a 6.5-inch (165 mm) magnesium-alloy inverted-dome woofer and a 1-inch (25.4 mm) aluminum-alloy dome tweeter, both magnetically shielded, crossed over at 2.2 kHz with high-order filter slopes for smooth on- and off-axis response and minimal coloration. In-room frequency response is specified at 46 Hz to 16 kHz ±1 dB, with low-frequency extension to 44 Hz (-3 dB), 38 Hz (-6 dB), and 33 Hz (-10 dB), providing unusually deep bass for a compact monitor. The nominal impedance is 6 ohms (minimum 4.4 ohms) and sensitivity is 87 dB/2.83V/m (4pi anechoic). The cabinet is constructed from thick, heavily braced MDF with a rounded front baffle to reduce diffraction and is finished in real-wood veneers in cherry, sycamore, rose, or black ash. Each speaker measures 15.5" H x 10" W x 12.25" D and weighs 45 lb, reflecting its robust build quality.
