The Revel Performa F-30 is a three-way, three-driver floorstanding loudspeaker system that incorporates advanced engineering and materials to deliver exceptional sound quality. It features a 10-inch inverted aluminum-dome woofer, a 5.25-inch inverted magnesium-cone midrange driver, and a 1-inch aluminum-dome tweeter, all designed for true pistonic operation to minimize coloration. The speaker uses high-order 24 dB/octave crossovers at 220 Hz and 2.8 kHz to optimize on- and off-axis response. The cabinet is constructed from 1-inch thick MDF with extensive internal bracing and a rounded front baffle to reduce diffraction, finished in fine wood veneers including cherry, sycamore, rose, and black ash. It has a bass reflex design with a flared port for enhanced low-frequency performance. Sensitivity is 87 dB at 2.83 V/1 m, nominal impedance is 6 ohms (minimum 3 ohms), and frequency response is impressively flat from approximately 33 Hz to 16 kHz in-room, with extended low-frequency response down to about 20 Hz (-3 dB at 30 Hz). The speaker weighs about 41 kg (90 lbs) and measures approximately 1168 mm high by 366 mm wide by 417 mm deep including the grille. It supports bi-wiring and bi-amping with gold-plated binding posts and includes a tweeter-level control with fine adjustment.
