The REL Acoustics Tzero MKIII is REL's entry-level subwoofer, delivering powerful, natural bass in a compact sealed enclosure perfect for apartments, studies, desktops, or small to medium rooms. It features a new 6.5-inch (165mm) long-throw aluminum cone driver with steel chassis, down-firing for optimal placement flexibility, driven by a 100-watt NextGen Class D amplifier. Full REL connectivity includes high-level Neutrik Speakon input (with 10m cable), low-level single RCA, and separate LFE/.1 RCA input with independent level controls. Controls comprise low-pass crossover (30-120 Hz), phase switch (0/180°), separate High/Low and .1/LFE gain controls, and signal-sensing auto standby. Protection includes fully electronic set-safe, DC fault, output short, and thermal overload. Finished in five coats of high-gloss lacquer (black or white). Not intended for large rooms but excels in adding deep, taut bass, harmonics, and dynamics to modest stereo or home theater setups.
