The REL Acoustics S/850 subwoofer delivers uncompromising performance with explosive dynamics, nuance, and effortless scale, blending power and refinement. Engineered for music and theater systems in medium-to-large rooms, it supports stereo pairs and line arrays. Key features include a 12-inch front-firing CarbonAlloy™ active driver with die-cast alloy chassis, a 12-inch down-firing long-stroke passive radiator with Carbon/Carbon flat cone and steel chassis, and advanced Linear Class D amplification surging to 1000 watts peak. It offers seamless integration via High Level Neutrik Speakon inputs, low-level RCA, LFE RCA/XLR, and compatibility with REL AirShip Direct wireless (sold separately). Finishes in Piano Black or Gloss White Lacquer with optional premium wood grille. Designed with innovations from REL's Reference line, including lightweight carbon-fiber center caps for reduced moving mass and enhanced thin-film capacitors in input filters for transparency.
