The REL Acoustics S/510 is the entry-level model in the Serie S range, featuring a front-firing 10-inch (250mm) long-throw ContinuousCast Alloy cone driver with carbon fiber backing for enhanced strength and reduced reversion, paired with a 12-inch (300mm) SuperProgressive down-firing passive radiator for deep, powerful bass extension to -6dB at 20Hz. Powered by a 500W RMS NextGen3 Class D amplifier, it includes PerfectFilter circuits for superior stereo music performance and PureTheatre filters for dynamic home theater. Connectivity options include high-level Neutrik Speakon (input/output), low-level stereo RCA, LFE RCA, and LFE XLR (balanced). Recommended for corner placement behind a stereo loudspeaker. It supports wireless via optional REL AirShip and can be stacked in line arrays. The S series appears discontinued as of recent reports, with U.S. stock marked sold out.
