The REL Acoustics No.25 is a premium subwoofer featuring a 15-inch long-throw driver made from pure carbon fiber, which is stronger than steel yet incredibly light, weighing 70% less than comparable cones. This driver has an inverted carbon fiber center cap and offers a 4-inch peak-to-peak stroke, enabling it to move extraordinary amounts of air quickly for powerful bass output. The subwoofer is housed in a closed box, front-firing design and is powered by a NextGen3 Class D amplifier delivering 1000 watts RMS, providing ultra-high current and refined power. It offers a low frequency response down to -6 dB at 14-15 Hz, making it capable of reproducing extremely deep bass. Connectivity includes high-level Neutrik Speakon, low-level stereo RCA, LFE RCA, and LFE XLR inputs and outputs. The No.25 also features a phase switch (0 or 180 degrees), a gain control range of 80 dB, and a fully electronic protection system with SET-SAFE to guard against DC faults and output shorts. Wireless capability is available via the REL Longbow transmitter (sold separately). The subwoofer measures 29 x 21.3 x 30 inches and weighs approximately 168 lbs. It includes advanced room correction with two parametric filters to manage room modes and bass response, allowing users to tailor the bass to their listening environment.
