The REL Acoustics Britannia 3 (B3) is a premium subwoofer designed to reproduce deep, dynamic bass down to 18Hz in-room at -6dB. It features a bespoke 10" driver with an exceptionally heavy and powerful motor assembly to maximize dynamics and control. The cabinet is constructed from 30mm thick MDF for optimal weight and density, ensuring minimal resonance and excellent bass performance. The B3 uses ARM loading with a resistive port design and dual downward venting chambers to minimize port noise and distortion. It is powered by a 200W DC coupled MOSFET amplifier and offers multiple input options including Neutrik Speakon and twin phono connectors. The subwoofer is designed to integrate seamlessly with main speakers via high-level inputs, preserving the tonal character of the system. Its crossover controls allow fine adjustment from 22Hz to 96Hz, and it weighs approximately 66 lbs with dimensions of 21.5" x 13.4" x 16.1".
