About the RP3

The Rega RP3 turntable is engineered to deliver exceptional performance beyond its price point, combining excellent build quality, reliability, and ease of use for a lifetime of musical enjoyment. It features Rega's Double Brace Technology (DB Technology) with a lightweight plinth reinforced by phenolic resin braces to reduce unwanted resonances and energy absorption. The RB303 tonearm is hand-assembled using advanced 3D CAD & CAM technology, offering increased rigidity, reduced resonance, and near-friction-free movement for superior vinyl playback. The 24V low noise, low vibration motor is individually hand-tuned to minimize vibration and noise. The platter is a solid glass piece with a felt mat, and the turntable supports 33-1/3 and 45 RPM speeds. Setup is straightforward, with no ground wire needed when using a factory-installed cartridge. The RP3 represents a significant advancement over its predecessor, the P3-24, with improvements in noise reduction, detail retrieval, and dynamic shading, making it a solid foundation for high-fidelity vinyl playback.
