About the RB300
The Rega RB300 tonearm was the first arm built by Rega in Britain and features a beautifully cast one-piece aluminum arm tube and headshell with closely toleranced bearings and rigid bearing housings. It includes a unique internal spring to regulate tracking force, allowing precise and automatic adjustment that compensates for gravitational force and minimizes external vibrations. The tonearm offers a clear, balanced sound with superior detail in midrange and high frequencies, and better handling of low frequencies compared to less expensive arms. It supports cartridge weights from 4 to 12 grams and is known for its neutrality and adaptability to various cartridges. Despite being introduced years ago, it remains a popular, affordable choice with upgrade potential and is often used as a base for modification projects.
