The Rega Planar 1 is a two-speed, belt-driven turntable known for its ease of use and high-quality sound reproduction. It features a **24V low noise synchronous motor**, which helps reduce resonance and provides stable speed performance. The turntable includes a **factory-fitted Rega Carbon moving magnet cartridge** and is equipped with the **RB110 tonearm**, which is hand-assembled and includes a preset bias force for easy setup. The tonearm is built with ultra-low friction bearings, enhancing the overall listening experience. The platter is made of **23 mm phenolic resin**, offering a good flywheel effect for consistent speed. The plinth is constructed from a **sandwich melamine** wrapped in a high-pressure acrylic laminate, designed to minimize external noise.
