About the Naia

The Rega Naia turntable is the culmination of years of development, derived from the handmade Naiad test bed turntable. It features a graphene impregnated carbon fibre skeletal plinth with a Tancast 8 foam core, reinforced with ceramic aluminium oxide braces. The ceramic platter is resonance controlled with an improved flywheel effect and complex profile. It uses a unique 24V low noise motor driven by a reference power supply for precise speed and vibration control. The motor drive is transferred via three Reference EBLT drive belts to a custom aluminium sub-platter with a spindle made from ZTA (zirconium toughened alumina), the same material as the central bearing, a world first. The tonearm is the RB Titanium, designed for minimal mechanical joints and maximum stiffness, with near frictionless movement and no measurable free play. It includes a tungsten balance weight shaft and balance weight. The Naia offers exceptional vinyl playback quality and comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
