The Rega Isis is a flagship CD player designed and manufactured with the highest quality standards, incorporating Rega's unique CD technology and a custom solid anodised aluminium case with a genuine black chrome lid and front fascia. It features discrete Class A operational amplifiers and filters optimized for sonic performance, audio grade electrolytic capacitors, and Rega 'K Power' smoothing capacitors. The player uses twin Burr Brown PCM1794 DACs running in parallel dual mono mode, delivering wide dynamic range and exceptionally low distortion. The Isis employs a proprietary, high-precision phase-locked loop master clock and a powerful 32-bit DSP engine with extensive error detection and correction algorithms, allowing it to play discs with marks or scratches that other players cannot read. It has three dedicated power supplies with galvanic isolation for digital, analog, and control sections, each with separate transformers and multiple regulators to minimize noise. The player includes balanced XLR and single-ended analog outputs, TosLink and coaxial S/PDIF digital outputs, and a double-clocked USB interface with galvanic isolation for computer audio. The Isis comes with high-quality power and interconnect cables and a precision-machined aluminum remote control. Dimensions are 434 × 112 × 350 mm, weight is 19 kg, and it consumes 23 W of power.
