About the Bias 2

The Rega Bias 2 is a phono cartridge known for its excellent sound quality and value for money. It features an elliptical stylus, high-spec parallel wound coils, and a conventional half-inch center distance with two-hole mounting, making it compatible with all standard tonearms. The cartridge is hand-made by Rega using custom coil winding techniques and ultra-high precision moulded bodies made of Pocan, a polymer harder than industrial aluminum. It has an output voltage of 6.8-7.2mV and is recommended to be used at a tracking weight of 1.75 grams.
