The Reed 2G Cocobolo tonearm merges the best features of the Reed 2A and Reed 3Q models, incorporating an advanced cardanic bearing system with vertical thrust rotation bearings and horizontal thrust pivot bearings to eliminate wobbling and enhance sound quality. It offers 0.2 mm precision VTA adjustment with height adjustable from 28 mm to 48 mm, and a unique azimuth adjustment system with a high-quality LEMO connector allowing easy replacement of the armwand to change effective length and mass. The Cocobolo armwand option provides an effective mass of 12g (9.5" length), 14g (10.5"), or 18g (12"). The tonearm includes a magnetic antiskate system, replaceable headshell, and can be wired with Finewire C37 cable or a 5-pin DIN connector for custom cabling. Available finishes include Seashell White, Black, Palladium, Gold Matte, and Gold Gloss. Effective lengths available are 9.5", 10.5", and 12" with corresponding mounting distances and offset angles optimized for precise tracking.
