About the 3Q
The Reed 3Q is the flagship tonearm model from Reed, featuring a laser-guided mechanism for precise adjustment of VTA (vertical tracking angle) and azimuth. It allows quick and comfortable setup after changing LP thickness or cartridges. The tonearm base is made of steel screwed to a brass housing, available in various finishes including gold and matte gold. It uses carbide points in a gimballed-arm bearing system inspired by Polish Unitra arms, ensuring low friction and high stability. The laser system helps align the tonearm armwand parallel to the mounting surface and platter, optimizing playback accuracy. This model combines technical acoustic analysis with audiophile feedback for superior sound quality.
