About the 2P
The Reed 2P tonearm is a predecessor to the Reed 3P and is equipped with fast Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) adjustment, allowing precise on-the-fly changes. It features an innovative bearing system that mixes gimbal and unipivot principles, providing low friction and high rigidity. The tonearm supports azimuth adjustment on-the-fly, enabling fine tuning of cartridge alignment during playback. It has a magnetic antiskating mechanism and a replaceable armwand and headshell, allowing customization of effective length and mass. The design focuses on minimizing bearing wobble and noise transmission for superior sound quality.
