The Red Dragon Leviathan Signature monoblocks are based on highly modified Bang & Olufsen ICEpower Class D amplifier modules, designed to eliminate EMI and minimize microphonic distortion. They produce 500 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 1000 watts into 4 ohms, offering effortless dynamics, rock-solid 3-D imaging, and smooth, mellifluous sound. The amplifiers are built with thick slabs of exotic hardwood and stainless steel, with a laser-cut dragon logo illuminated by a red LED on top. Each amplifier weighs about 25 pounds plus additional weight depending on the wood used, and measures 10" x 5.5" x 14.5" (WxHxD). They feature Neutrik Silver XLR differential inputs, a damping factor of 2000 into 8 ohms, a dynamic range greater than 119 dBA, and a frequency response from DC to 38 kHz. The amps are hand-built in the USA and come with a full 5-year warranty. The Leviathans are praised for their warm, euphonic sound with powerful yet natural bass and detailed midrange, though some note a slight tonal difference between bass/treble and midrange. They
