About the MicroTrap

RealTraps MicroTraps are thin acoustic panels measuring 2 feet by 4 feet by 1-1/4 inches thick and weighing approximately 9 pounds. They are designed primarily for absorption of mid and high frequencies and are ideal for placement at first reflection points in listening rooms, vocal booths, or large live spaces such as bars and restaurants to reduce reverberation and ambient noise. Unlike MiniTraps, MicroTraps do not absorb as low in frequency and are not intended for bass trapping. They are constructed with rigid fiberglass and metal frames, covered in acoustically transparent, fireproof fabric, making them non-flammable and suitable for public venues. MicroTraps can be mounted easily with one screw or hook, or attached to microphone stands for flexible placement without permanent wall damage. They are available in standard and High Frequency (HF) versions, with the HF model providing greater absorption at mid and high frequencies. The panels come in multiple colors including white, wheat, gray, and black, and can be mounted vertically or horizontally depending on space constraints.
