The Quad Z-4 is the largest model in Quad's Z Series ribbon loudspeaker range, engineered with a unique sandwich formation ribbon tweeter for robust high-power performance while retaining the delicate sound of conventional ribbons. Housed in beautifully curved piano lacquered cabinets available in black, white, or rosewood finishes, it employs an acoustic filter bass reflex system with a double chamber to eliminate port chuffing and deliver natural bass extension. The 3-way design includes three bass drivers, a dedicated midrange, and a 90x12mm true ribbon tweeter, providing exceptional clarity, dynamics, and wide soundstage.
