The Quad Z-2 is the flagship bookshelf speaker in Quad's Z Series, a passive 2-way bass reflex design renowned for its world-class 90x12mm true ribbon tweeter in a unique sandwich formation that delivers exceptional delicacy, power, dynamics, and reduced distortion with limited vertical dispersion for sharper focus. Paired with a large 175mm woven Kevlar cone or glass fibre mid/bass driver reinforced by an acoustic filter bass-reflex system with double chamber to eliminate port chuffing and extend natural bass reproduction. Housed in a beautifully curved, piano-lacquered cabinet available in black, white, or rosewood finishes, it provides hallmark Quad fidelity with exquisite detail, warmth, openness, and airiness. Dual binding posts support bi-amping/bi-wiring, removable magnetic grille, and self-adhesive feet included. Five-year warranty.
