The Quad Revela 1 is a premium bookshelf speaker from Quad, designed for high-fidelity audio with a focus on realism and musical clarity. It employs a proprietary 'Reveal' 165mm advanced fibre composite cone bass/mid driver with custom rubber surround and high-power motor for superb bass performance, paired with a larger 27x60mm Quad True Ribbon tweeter for pristine highs. The bass reflex enclosure uses a precisely tuned rear-firing port to minimize resonances, ensuring free-flowing purity in low and midrange frequencies. A phase-compensated Acoustic Butterworth crossover at 2.9kHz provides smooth transitions. Voiced by Peter Comeau, it delivers balanced, accurate sound with articulate mids, tight bass, and extended highs. Available in high-gloss piano black or walnut finishes, with optional matching stands. Single-wiring only via high-quality binding posts.
