The Quad II Classic is a faithful reproduction of the original Quad II amplifier, designed as a two-channel tube integrated amplifier operating in pure class A. It uses a tube complement of four KT66 output tubes, four 12AX7 tubes, and two 6922EH tubes. The amplifier delivers 25 watts per channel into 8 ohms with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz (±1dB) and total harmonic distortion under 0.6% at 15W, 700Hz. It includes three line inputs plus a tape loop and one phono input switchable between moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges, with input sensitivities of 275mV (line), 2mV (MM), and 200µV (MC).
