The Quad 303 is a two-channel Class AB power amplifier primarily designed for high quality domestic installations. It is suitable for driving loudspeakers with impedances from 4 to 16 ohms and provides a rated power output of 2 x 50W into 8 ohms and 2 x 70W into 4 ohms with total harmonic distortion under 1%. It features the QUAD 303 Triples output stage and a custom 200VA toroidal transformer, supporting stereo and bridged modes. The amplifier has a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz (+/-0.3dB), extremely low total harmonic distortion (<0.002% at 1kHz), and a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 108dB (A-weighted). Inputs include 1 x Line and 1 x XLR, with outputs including stereo speaker outputs and 12V trigger connections. The amplifier weighs approximately 8.4 kg and measures 120 x 176 x 325 mm. It is finished in classic QUAD grey and comes with a power cord, remote control, and user manual.
