About the GX3

The QSC GX3 is a compact, lightweight 2-channel power amplifier optimized for real-world headroom into 4- and 8-ohm speaker systems. It delivers 300 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 425 watts at 4 ohms, suitable for midsize venues, musicians, and mobile DJs. The amplifier features balanced XLR, 1/4-inch TRS, and unbalanced phono inputs for compatibility with various audio sources. Outputs include Speakon combo connectors and binding posts supporting multiple speaker wiring systems. The chassis is only 10.1 inches deep, fitting easily into compact racks. It includes detented gain controls for precise sensitivity matching, front panel LEDs for power, signal, and clipping monitoring, and QSC's GuardRail protection to prevent damage from temperature rise or overdrive without shutting down. A built-in 180 Hz subwoofer/satellite crossover allows for flexible speaker configurations. The amplifier uses Class B output circuitry and has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz with minimal distortion and high signal-to-noise ratio. It weighs approximately 25 lbs (11.5 kg) and meets UL, CE, and RoHS/WEEE compliance standards.
