The Purple Preamp ADAT-ST is a microphone preamplifier module from Purple Audio, known for its discrete signal path and transformer input design that delivers a natural and open tone. It supports ADAT optical digital input/output for seamless integration with digital audio workstations and interfaces. The preamp offers high maximum output levels (+27 dBu), wide frequency response (10 Hz to 70 kHz ±1 dB), and selectable gain modes for mic, line, and direct inputs, with maximum gains up to 75 dB in dual mode. It includes features such as output level control, input and output LED metering, mic/line input switching, and a DI load switch to tailor impedance for different sources. The unit is designed with over-current resettable fuses for protection and complies with ROHS lead-free standards.
