About the STB-9000
The Purest Audio STB-9000 is a digital set-top box that enables TVs to decode the newer Australian digital TV broadcasting standard, providing full HD picture and sound quality. It supports HDMI output for optimal audio and video performance, as well as traditional connections like composite and RF cables for compatibility with older TVs. The device features USB recording functionality, allowing users to record free-to-air TV programs onto a USB drive either manually or via a 7-day electronic program guide. It supports playback of recorded content on both the device and computers, facilitating archiving. Additional features include an aerial pass-through port to watch one channel while recording another, on-screen channel display, subtitle support, program information display, channel editing, favorites setting, and media playback from USB drives. The STB-9000 is black in color and supports MP3 disc playback. It is designed to enhance the viewing experience for Australian digital TV users with a user-friendly interface and multiple connectivity options.
