The Psvane T-845 Mono Amplifiers are a pair of power monoblocks designed to combine the smooth midrange sound of 300B tubes with the power of 845 vacuum tubes. Each amplifier uses a 300B tube to drive a pair of 845 tubes in a parallel single-ended triode (SET) configuration, producing 50 watts of pure Class A power per channel. This design addresses the common audiophile complaint that 300B amps lack sufficient power for regular efficiency speakers, allowing the T-845 to drive speakers with 84-89dB sensitivity while maintaining the silky smooth 300B sound and the large soundstage characteristic of 845 tubes.
