The PSB SubSonic 5i is a powered subwoofer featuring a 10-inch polypropylene cone woofer with a rubber surround and a 1.5-inch voice coil. It delivers 150 watts of continuous power and can peak at 450 watts, thanks to its Class H/BASH amplifier design which improves efficiency and reduces heat dissipation. The subwoofer has a frequency response of 30-150 Hz (±3 dB) and a low-frequency cutoff at 27 Hz (-10 dB). It includes a bass-reflex (ported) enclosure for enhanced bass output, front-mounted volume and crossover controls (50-150 Hz), and a rear-mounted phase switch and auto on/off feature. Connectivity options include line-level/LFE inputs and speaker-level inputs/outputs. The unit measures approximately 17-3/8 inches high, 12-3/8 inches wide, and 15-7/8 inches deep, weighing about 31.7 lbs. It comes in a black ash finish and includes an 8.25-foot AC power cord and owner's manual.
