The PSB Dipole 2 is a bipole/dipole surround speaker featuring switchable modes for side-wall and rear-wall placement. It includes dual 1-inch titanium dome tweeters with ferrofluid cooling and neodymium magnets, and dual 5-1/4 inch woofers with clay/ceramic reinforced polypropylene cones and rubber surrounds. The speaker has a frequency response of approximately 65 Hz to 23 kHz, a sensitivity around 87-88 dB, and an impedance of 8 ohms nominal (4 ohms minimum). It supports power handling from 15 to 150 watts RMS, making it suitable for a wide range of home theater systems. The enclosure is sealed with an internal volume of about 0.22 cubic feet. Dimensions are roughly 10 3/4 x 12 3/4 x 7 1/8 inches (273 x 321 x 178 mm), and the weight is about 16.3 lbs (7.4 kg) per speaker. Available finishes include Black Ash, Dark Cherry, Walnut wood veneers, Gloss Black, or Gloss White. The crossover network is a 2-way acoustical design with a 24 dB/octave slope, ensuring smooth integration of drivers. The speaker is designed to deliver accurate surround sound with minimal distortion and excellent dispersion characteristics due to its dipole/bipole switchability.
