The PS Audio P-500 Power Plant is a high-performance AC power regenerator designed to provide ultra-clean, fully balanced AC power to audio and video equipment. It delivers up to 500 watts peak output and can supply 300 watts continuous to solid state components or 250 watts continuous to tube components. Featuring MultiWave II technology with AutoWave, it generates sine waves and other waveforms tailored to the dynamic needs of connected equipment. The unit includes four Power Port outlets for regenerated AC and two Ultimate Outlets for filtered AC, with independent power zones isolating analog, digital, and high current equipment. It regulates voltage within 1 volt and displays output voltage, wattage, or percentage of maximum power on the front panel. The P-500 incorporates a massive toroidal transformer, high voltage surge suppression, and a thermally controlled cooling fan for reliability and low noise. Its brushed aluminum FRAME chassis supports optional rack mounting and PS Bus communication with other PS Audio devices. The unit weighs 33 pounds and measures approximately 4.5" H x 17" W x 13.25" D. It is suitable for powering 2-channel audio systems or small home theaters, providing significant reduction of AC line noise and improved transient response.
