About the K3

The ProAc K3 is a compact floorstanding speaker in the flagship K Series, designed for powerful sound reproduction suitable for full orchestral music or loud rock. It features two specially developed 165mm (6.5") Kevlar cone bass/midrange drivers with phase plugs for enhanced detail and dispersion, paired with a central ProAc ribbon tweeter using an alnico magnet and rear chamber damping. The high-quality crossover uses premium components on a dual-layer board with multistrand oxygen-free copper cable, split for optional bi-wiring or bi-amplification. Housed in a K-constructed cabinet with a downward-facing port for easy placement, it delivers a clear, detailed midrange reminiscent of electrostatics and a fast, dynamic bass response. Standard finishes include Black Ash, Mahogany, Cherry, Natural Oak, Silk White, and Walnut; premium finishes like Liquidambar, Rosewood, and Ebony available at extra cost. Acoustically transparent crimplene grille with magnetic options for certain finishes.
