About the Response 1SC

The ProAc Response 1SC is a radical refinement of the earlier Response One S, designed to deliver miniature loudspeaker performance at a new level. It features a proprietary bass/midrange driver with an innovative copper magnet and phase plug assembly, a highly damped, transparent cone for rigidity and lightness, and a modified crossover network for seamless integration with the tweeter. The cabinet is highly damped and the speaker uses an equalized reflex port for extended bass and enhanced soundstaging. The 1SC is celebrated for its smooth, expansive midrange with electrostatic-like quality, low distortion, and accurate, fast delivery. It is finished in real wood veneers and is considered a milestone in compact high-end loudspeaker design.
