The Pro-Ject Xtension 12 Evolution turntable incorporates over 20 years of design experience to minimize resonance and vibration for exceptional vinyl playback. It features a super-heavy 30 kg mass-loaded, magnetically suspended belt-drive design with a precision balanced sandwich alloy platter topped with a vinyl layer for optimal record contact. Magnetic decoupling feet isolate the turntable from external vibrations, and the motor is an ultra-low-noise AC motor with electronic speed control for 33, 45, and 78 rpm speeds. The tonearm is a 12" EVO carbon fiber arm with a conical one-piece carbon fiber armtube and integrated headshell, allowing azimuth and vertical tracking angle (VTA) adjustments. The inverted main bearing uses a ceramic thrust pad with magnetic support to reduce noise and resonance. The plinth is filled with metal granules for damping, and the turntable includes a brass record puck, dust cover, and high-quality phono cables. Multiple luxury finish options are available including high-gloss black lacquer, mahogany, walnut, olivewood, eucalyptus, palisander, red, white, and walnut burl. The turntable weighs approximately 30 kg and measures 550 x 250 x 450 mm (WxHxD).
