The Pro-Ject Head Box S is a high-quality headphone amplifier designed for audiophiles, capable of driving headphones with both low and high impedance. It features a full metal housing for protection against interference and includes a 6.3mm (1/4") stereo headphone output. The amplifier delivers 330mW at 30 ohms and 60mW at 300 ohms, with a very low distortion of 0.003% and a wide frequency response from 30Hz to 20kHz (-0.05dB), extending up to 120kHz (-1dB). It has a gain of 11dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 112dB (A weighted) at full output.
