About the I35 Prisma DM36

The Primare I35 Prisma DM36 is a modular high-end stereo integrated amplifier, DAC, and network player. It combines Primare’s UFPD 2 Class-D amplification platform with the DM36 DAC module and SM35 Prisma streaming/network module. Its amplification section is rated at 150 W per channel into 8 ohms and 300 W per channel into 4 ohms. The DM36 uses an ESS ES9068A DAC and supports PCM up to 384 kHz/32-bit, DSD256, PCM up-sampling, and MQA processing. Prisma networking provides wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, and Spotify Connect. It offers extensive analogue, digital, network, and control connectivity, including balanced XLR inputs, RCA line inputs, USB-B, optical and coaxial digital inputs, line/pre outputs, RS-232, IR, and a 12 V trigger. Manufacturer material lists the I35 Prisma DM36 as a current product; it is not identified as discontinued. Note: the earlier DM35 DAC module, not the DM36 version, is discontinued.
