The Primare P30 Processor serves as the heart of a high-quality music or home entertainment system, offering a flexible range of inputs including seven analog phono inputs, one analog balanced input, five coaxial digital inputs, two TOSlink optical digital inputs, and one AES/EBU balanced digital input. It supports video switching with four composite and three S-Video inputs, allowing up to seven audio-visual sources to be switched. The P30 can decode multi-channel sources encoded in Dolby Pro Logic or Dolby Digital (AC-3) to provide six discrete output channels for surround sound. It features a Bypass mode for pure two-channel music reproduction and is fully configurable via on-screen menus to tailor source and output combinations. The user interface is intuitive, controlled by two front panel knobs and four push buttons or a supplied remote control. Technical specifications include a frequency response of 10Hz to 100kHz, total harmonic distortion of 0.005%, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB (line). Dimensions are 430 x 100 x 385 mm, and it weighs approximately 10 kg.
