About the SR2

The Polk Audio SR2 is a pair of compact, powered wireless rear-surround speakers designed exclusively for selected Polk soundbars. Each speaker receives surround-channel audio wirelessly from the compatible soundbar and has its own integrated amplifier and custom-tuned driver, eliminating the need for an AV receiver or speaker cables between the soundbar and speakers. The speakers support a 5.1 surround setup and can be placed on a shelf or mounted horizontally on a wall using the built-in keyhole slot or 1/4-inch-20 threaded insert. Compatibility is model-specific: Polk documentation identifies the React, MagniFi 2, MagniFi Mini AX, and MagniFi Max AX among compatible soundbars, with compatibility subject to the soundbar’s firmware and regional model listings. The product remains listed on Polk’s website, although some Polk pages and refurbished listings have shown it as unavailable; therefore, it should not be classified as definitively discontinued.
