About the SRT
The Polk Audio SRT (Signature Reference Theater), introduced in 1995, was a premium seven-speaker home-theater system comprising left and right main satellite speakers, a dedicated center-channel speaker, two rear surround speakers with selectable dipole/bipole operation, and two powered subwoofers that also served as bases for the main satellites. The subwoofers used Polk’s proprietary High Velocity Compression Drive design and incorporated 300-watt amplifiers. The system was supplied with an SRT control center and remote, and was designed for high-output, dynamic home-theater reproduction.
