The Polk Audio M 40 bookshelf speakers utilize Dynamic Balance technology to minimize resonance and distortion, providing a wide, smooth frequency response. They feature two 5.25" bi-laminate composite woofers with butyl rubber surrounds for high efficiency and excellent bass, paired with a 1" silk/polymer dome tweeter with a Neodymium magnet and heat sink for superior power handling and clarity. The cabinets are constructed from MDF with internal bracing to reduce sound-muddying resonance, and the speakers are magnetically shielded for placement near TVs without interference.
