The Plinius Hiato is the largest integrated amplifier from Plinius, offering 300 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms with less than 0.2% total harmonic distortion. It features a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz ±0.2dB and a slew rate of 50V/µs, ensuring detailed and controlled sound reproduction. The amplifier can deliver a short duration peak current of 50A per channel and is fuse protected. It includes four line-level inputs with high-quality WBT RCA connectors, balanced XLR inputs for CD and Line 1, and an optional phono input derived from the high-performance Koru phono stage, adjustable for gain and loading. Additional features include a home-theater bypass, ground-lift toggle, remote IR output, 12V triggers, and a 3.5mm front-panel jack for portable media. The Hiato supports bi-wiring with four pairs of speaker terminals and offers line-level output for archiving and pre-out for bi-amping. It is designed with a robust industrial look, includes a full-function aluminum remote control, and complies with international environmental standards. The amplifier weighs 25kg and measures 170mm in height, 450mm in width, and 455mm in depth.
