The Pioneer PD-10 is a Super Audio CD player released around 2012, designed for high-accuracy audio reproduction. It supports playback of CD and SACD discs, including formats such as MP3, WMA, AAC, and DSD via USB. The player features a center-mounted drive mechanism for reduced vibration and a torsion-resistant sheet steel chassis for enhanced audio clarity. It includes a 192 kHz/32-bit DAC and Sound Retriever technology to improve compressed audio quality. The PD-10 offers optical and coaxial digital outputs, a frequency response of 2 Hz to 50 kHz (SACD), a signal-to-noise ratio of 117 dB, and a very low total harmonic distortion of 0.002%. It comes with a remote control and has dimensions of 435 x 128 x 329 mm, weighing 5.2 kg. The player is noted for its rigid construction and high precision clock for natural sound reproduction. It was available in black and silver finishes and is now considered an outdated product.
