The Pioneer Elite SC-77, introduced in 2013, is a high-performance 9.2 channel home theater receiver designed for audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts. It features Class D3 amplifier technology certified by THX Ultra2 Plus and AIR Studios Monitor, delivering 140 watts per channel into 8 ohms with ultra-low distortion. The receiver supports 4K Ultra HD pass-through and upscaling, allowing high-definition video signals to be displayed at up to 4K resolution. It includes advanced audio processing with an ultra-high performance SABRE32 DAC for superior sound quality. The SC-77 supports multi-zone and multi-source configurations with flexible speaker channel assignments, including 12 types of speaker systems and bi-amp connections. It plays high-resolution audio formats such as FLAC, WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless, and DSD files (2.8MHz and 5.6MHz) via USB and network sources, with gapless playback capability. Connectivity options include HDMI (9 inputs/3 outputs), coaxial, optical, USB digital inputs, and network support with DLNA 1.5 certification.
