The Pink Faun 2.16 Ultra is a high-end, modular network music server and digital transport manufactured by Pink Faun in the Netherlands. It combines local music storage, network streaming, Roon Core/server functionality, and Roon Ready rendering in one passively cooled, dual-chassis-inspired single-unit platform. Its architecture uses a 12-core/24-thread processor, 32 GB ECC RAM, extensive linear power regulation, separate power supplies for major subsystems, and two Ultra OCXO clock oscillators for the 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz sample-rate families. Output connectivity is modular: the unit can be configured with USB, S/PDIF coaxial, AES/EBU, I²S, MSB ProISL, and CH-link bridges, with multiple bridges installable simultaneously. It supports music from internal SSD storage, network-attached storage, and wired network streaming services such as Qobuz and Tidal. The product remains listed by Pink Faun as a current product; therefore it is not considered discontinued.
