The Phasemation T-2000 is a pair of monaural step-up transformers, each dedicated to a single channel, ensuring complete isolation between left and right for the highest possible audio fidelity. It is engineered for use with low-output moving coil (MC) cartridges, supporting balanced phono inputs to maximize signal integrity and minimize noise. The T-2000 builds on Phasemation’s legacy of transformer design, utilizing a large EI core made from extra-thin 0.2mm permalloy, advanced winding techniques, and extensive magnetic shielding to deliver outstanding linearity, phase accuracy, and detail retrieval. The transformers are housed in robust, copper-plated steel enclosures with high-damping rubber isolation to further reduce vibration and resonance. Rhodium-plated Furutech terminals ensure reliable, high-quality connections. The T-2000 is widely regarded as one of the finest step-up transformers available, offering a lifelike, dynamic, and spatially precise listening experience.
