About the EA1000

The Phasemation EA-1000 is a three-chassis tube phono equalizer consisting of separate left- and right-channel phono amplifier units and an independent power supply. It supports MM and MC cartridges, with selectable MC gain settings of 59 dB and 67 dB, MM gain of 39 dB, and cartridge loading appropriate to each input. The unit uses a CR-type equalization circuit and is specified for a 200 mV rated output, ±0.3 dB RIAA deviation from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and 750-ohm output impedance. Its phono units use substantial aluminum and copper-plated steel construction. The EA-1000 is designed as a high-end tube phono stage emphasizing low noise, high resolution, and precise stereo reproduction.
