The Pedersens Gyro Armboard Upgrade is a specialized kit available for different tonearm models including SME, Michell Tecno, Rega, Origin Live, Zeta, Audionote, and Mørch arms. It is designed to prevent cartridge and arm resonances from reaching the turntable chassis, thereby reducing feedback to the cartridge and enhancing sound quality. The upgrade uses a three-layer damping system with isolated screws and PVC washers that also allow height adjustment for proper vertical tracking angle (VTA). Installation is straightforward, and the armboard height is optimized individually for adjustable arms to minimize arm height adjustments.
